Malborough Village Hall & Playing Fields

With the hall prepared for a wedding with a marquee lining it looks spectacular!

The Malborough Village Hall and Playing Fields Association (MVH&PFA) is a charity whose aim is to provide facilities and a framework for their use for physical and mental training, recreation, social, moral and intellectual development. The hire charges are set at the rates needed to cover the running costs of the Hall as we constantly endeavour to keep the Hall well maintained.

The hall is licensed for the performance of plays, the exhibition of films, for sport, live and recorded music and dance. The facilities include a main hall (240m²) with an extending stage with theatre type services. The hall is licensed for 480 people or 250 if all are seated as for theatre.

The association has a licence for the sale by retail of alcohol. Alcohol may be served and consumed in the hall and annexe. There is an associated kitchen and bar service area which has been completely refurbished including a new large range cooker, water heater and cupboard and drawer units. There is a smaller hall (52m²) or annexe with it’s own small kitchen, toilets and shower.

The hall is marked out with a badminton court and is used for indoor bowls. Then outside there are playing fields for football and cricket pitches, two tennis courts, a children’s play area and Parking for 81 cars.
