Celebrating Salcombe's Fishing and Tourism – Organised by the Rotary Club of Salcombe
The event is being held to celebrate crab, seafood, tourism and local arts, crafts and other offerings so that residents and businesses can benefit. It will take place on Sunday 30th April 2017 from 10am in Salcombe, South Devon. Enjoy hands on demonstrations, crab picking tuition, commercial crab fishing talk, demonstration kitchen, crab pot making, music, wine tasting and much more!
The event is hosted in Island Street, Salcombe and across the town by Rotary Club of Salcombe in conjunction with Salcombe Information Centre, Favis of Salcombe and Coast & Country Cottages to raise money for local charities. This year, Crabfest will be raising money for a fantastic local charity, First Responders.
We are delighted to announce that the celebrity guest at this year’s Crabfest will be Matt Tebbutt! Matt presents Food Unwrapped on Channel 4. Series eight of this award-winning food show is now in production. He is also the new lead presenter of Saturday Kitchen on BBC1.
